E-Attendance Policy

Introduction:

E-attendance is considered a foundation for the success of learners in online and distance learning. Electronic attendance refers to the virtual presence of the trainee connected to the internet through a computer or a mobile device, and it confirms whether the trainee is present in real time.

Key E-Attendance Policies:

  • The institute's management is responsible for the monitoring, supervision, and tracking of trainees' access to the online platform.

  • Automated tracking and recording of electronic attendance and absence for trainees in virtual classrooms

  • Periodic reports on e-attendance are sent to the trainers.

  • Trainees are informed about their e-attendance rates on the virtual platform.

  • Failure to meet the minimum e-attendance requirement (not less than 25%) will result in considering the student as not having completed the entire training program and denying them the certificate.

  • Minimum requirement for synchronous attendance hours (not less than 25%).

  • Virtual attendance is considered equivalent to regular attendance.
